About Howard Neu
Howard Neu is well known within the domain industry as "The Internet Lawyer", a co-founder of the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. conference - the show is largely credited with finally bringing cohesion to the emerging domain industry - and a lifelong public servant who has also dabbled in motion pictures and media.
Howard has been an long-term political and legal force, starting with his work on Hubert Humphrey's 1968 Presidential campaign, being Campaign Manager for 3 lawyers who won election to the Florida Supreme court, Florida Campaign Manager for Pennsylvania Governor Milton Schapp for U.S. President, Florida Campaign Manager for Congressman John Anderson for U.S. President, Municipal Judge, Councilman and three-term Mayor of North Miami, He also produced and Hosted a Miami television ½ hour talk show, "South Florida Speaks" for 10 years, a Radio Talk show for 3 years and was an actor in numerous movies and stage musicals.
He has been a potent civil litigator, one who jumped into the online arena at the outset, defending notable and sometimes notorious clients. His biggest, and perhaps most celebrated, civil defense cases involved noted typosquatter John Zuccarini. His defense of Zuccarini helped make the name Howard Neu synonymous with the term, "The Internet Lawyer", which is how many people recognize him today.
Among his more recent accomplishments, from an extraordinary set of careers, is being co-founder and moderator of T.R.A.F.F.I.C., which is the oldest and most successful of the domain shows available to domain investors. He and his long-time business partner, Rick Schwartz, are celebrating their seventh year of the show, which will return to the shores of Florida in October 2011, this time at the Ritz Carlton, Fort Lauderdale.
